Arto Lindsay:
„The Penny Parade“ – HKW
With two trucks, converted into a wagon boombox and a rolling copper factory, the Penny Parade made its way through the center of Berlin, passing Unter den Linden and the Brandenburg Gate until coming to a halt at HKW. Arto Lindsay was marching with illustrious companions: The Gypsy brass band Fanfara Kalashnikov, the Brazilian percussion by Marivaldo Paim mixed by Matt Jackson, the Senior Street Art, the Merve publishing house with allied thinkers and philosophers, a Salsa dance group as well as Sam Forsythe and Ayaka Okutsu. At HKW, the parade was welcomed by the colorful smoke of Zac Dempster and CKW under the direction of David Moss.
